How do you meet the needs of West Seneca?
Everybody has different God-given strengths and passions. The secret is to discover your “sweet spot” – that place where you find the most fulfillment in serving. We want you to have FUN in ministry just being you!
One of the core desires of our church is to go out and serve, meeting people practically where they’re at with the love of God. There’s a bunch of ways we try to do that.
We often volunteer at food shelters in Buffalo and homes for women and children. There’s also a group of us that go to nursing homes and visit those who are lonely. Some of us do other projects in the community of West Seneca like clean the streets, rake leaves… you name it. This year, we’re really trying to focus on helping the homeless. Also, right now we’re in the planning stages for developing a free community garden on an acre of our property.
If you want to be part of a group that brainstorms how we can get out into the community and be the “hands and feet” of Jesus, then contact us at livingfatihfmc@gmail.com.
Whether you want to lead these groups or participate, there’s a place for you here. In these ways (and others), we’re trying our best to live our lives in the ways Jesus.
We also believe in the global Christian church. Consequently, we do a lot with missions.
